PRE-ORDER: 'The Dark Side of Uranus' (Soxy Sock)

£23.00

‘Dark Side of Uranus’ - midnight black with a neon rainbow section. This was the exclusive colourway I offered at the Make Joy’ yarn festival. It’s a royal PITA to dye, so I won’t be dyeing it again after this pre-order closes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a pre-order that closes on Monday November 17th. Orders will be dyed and shipped by the first week in December.

Dyed on a sock/4-ply, 75% superwash merino/25% Nylon base. Mulesing-free. Incredibly soft and with a wonderful lustre. 100g = 425m/463 yds.

As with any hand-dyed yarn, no skein is exactly the same and no batch is quite the same either.

My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.

My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.

Hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit.

Please note - due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
