Digital cameras struggle with turquoise colours, and mine is no exception. In real life, this is a rich, saturated duck teal shade.
Dyed here on ‘Fat Fingering’ - a 4-ply fingering weight yarn, 100% non-superwash Corriedale yarn that is woollen spun, making it warm, light and lofty. 100g = 450 metres (approx).
My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.
My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.
As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit - due to the high saturation of this shade, it may bleed a little more than some of my other colours.
Please note - due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
