I was sorting through my shelves and came across one of these sets - I think I must have put one aside for myself, together with a set of the fingering version. Reality check time - I’m not going to be knitting this up any time soon, maybe ever, as I already have a blanket I made from one set.
The set contains 40 × 20g miniskeins of 100% superwash merino, on an 8-ply DK. The photos show the gradient when it was 37 shades - I created 3 more shades after that, to further smooth out the gradient.
This is the very last one - I won’t be dyeing these sets up anymore.
My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.
My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.
As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit - due to the high saturation of this shade, it may bleed a little more than some of my other colours.
Please note - due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
