'Pigeon Shit Green' (Fat Fingering) - New Colour for '26!
New shade for 2025/6. You probably know that viral photo that does the rounds, of the ‘Goose Turd Green’ yarn. This is my ode to it. But we don’t have geese in Peckham - we’ve got pigeons. And way too many of the fuckers.
Photos 3 & 4 show, from left to right: ‘Tasty Nuts’, ‘Gelupo’, ‘Pigeon Shit Green’, ‘Envy’ and ‘Butch’.
‘Fat Fingering’ - a 4-ply fingering weight yarn, 100% non-superwash Corriedale yarn that is woollen spun, making it warm, light and lofty. 100g = 450 metres (approx).
50g skeins are not available from my supplier, so 100g must be separated into 50g by hand (ie mine), hence why I must charge more than just half.
My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.
My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.
As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit - due to the high saturation of this shade, it may bleed a little more than some of my other colours.
Please note - due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
