'Pavo' (Mohair/Silk Lace)

£21.00

A stunning peacock-teal - new shade for 2025/6. Pairs with ‘The Erl-King’ nicely, as seen in photo 2. As with all my turquoise and teal colours, the photos don’t do it justice - digital cameras struggle with these tones and I had to do a fair bit of tweaking to get anything close to an accurate representation. In real life, it’s so much richer.

Third photo shows ‘Pavo’ on Long Fingering & Mohair Fluff.

64% Kid Mohair & 36% Silk base - luxurious fluffiness! 50g = 420m/457yds (approx)

My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.

My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.

As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit - due to the high saturation of this shade, it may bleed a little more than some of my other colours.

Please note - due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
