The Bona Fat Fingering Advent 2026 - 'CyberPunk'

from £80.00

I took a break from Advents last year, as I wasn’t feeling inspired, and needed a break from doing them, as they are labour intensive.

This year I’m making an earlier start, which will mebe more manageable with it, starting the dyeing in the Spring. And to help me keep it manageable, I will be capping the number of sets available to no more than 20.

This year, I want to offer an Advent on my new base, ‘Fat Fingering’ and am drawing inspiration from a ‘Cyberpunk’ theme - the 20g minis will all be various neons None of the colours will be ones I currently offer (though that won’t exclude variations on the depths of shade).

In addition to the minis, you will have the option to purchase additional dark, moody purple 100g main colour (100g=450m) skeins, though the advents can be purchased without a MC. The exact shade of the MC will be inspired by these pictures and will be a colourway exclusive to this set.

Alternatively, if minis aren’t you’re thing, you can purchase an Advent of 4 × 100g skeins (for the four Sundays in Advent), for 3 neon shades exclusive to the Advent set and 1 skein of the deep purple MC. None of these colours will be available for sale afterwards, so this will be your only option to acquire them.

International orders will ship at the end of October, domestic (UK) orders will ship mid-November.

‘Fat Fingering’ - a 4-ply fingering weight yarn, 100% non-superwash Corriedale yarn that is woollen spun, making it warm, light and lofty. 20g = 90 metres, 100g = 450m (approx).

My yarns are dyed in my studio in London, using professional acid dyes and professional techniques.

My home and studio are smokeless. We do have a cat, but he’s not allowed in my room and he doesn’t knit, but I can’t rule out the possibility of a stray cat hair getting in to the yarns.

As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Whilst I do my best to ensure there is minimal, if any, bleeding, I can't make a 100% guarantee that my more saturated colours will not bleed a tiny bit - due to the high saturation of this shade, it may bleed a little more than some of my other colours.
