Bona Advent 2024
This year’s advent will be taking another time-travelling-trip into Barbie history, to the 80s and the time of ‘Barbie & The Rockers’.
Expect lots of neon. Lots. And black contrasts. Splashes. Speckles. Perhaps some unique-to-the-advent semisolids.
You will receive 24 x 20g miniskeins in individual, numbered packages to open each day. Or all at once, if you prefer!
As with last year, there is the option to upgrade to the ‘Advent & Giftset’, which will be 3 x 100g skeins in addition to the 24 miniskeins. Unlike last year, the ‘Giftset’ yarns can be purchased as a standalone. And unlike last year, I won’t be repeating any of them at a later date.
I do not include extras in my advents, and I keep the packaging plain and simple.
I’m fairly sure that this advent offering will be my last one, as next year my plan is to return to part-time dyeing again.
The photos are a general guide as to the palette I’ll be working with.
This is a pre-order, limited to no more than 40 Advent sets. International orders will be dispatched the first full week of November, and domestic orders will be dispatched the following week.
Choose from:
‘Soxy Sock’ - a 4-ply sock yarn, 75/25% Superwash Merino/Nylon. 20g = 85m/92yds (approx). Mulesing-free.
OR
‘Hi-Def DK’ - a 100% superwash Merino DK, 8-ply construction. 20g = 50m/54yds (approx). Mulesing-free.
As with any hand dyed yarn, hand washing in cold water is recommended. Please note - my fluorescent yarns are prone to some light bleeding, so prolonged soaking is not recommended
Due to variations in monitors etc., colour may appear slightly different in real life. I do, however, try my very best to accurately represent my wares.
